Conversion Containers Ltd have developed the Convertible Shipping Container: an innovative pre-insulated and pre-framed ISO container designed to carry cargo (at least) one-trip; and then be converted for alternative purposes using premanufactured utility pods, room modules and furniture kits.
Our containers are manufactured on a reefer production line where high performing PUR (polyurethane) foam insulation is installed in the floor, walls, roof, and end doors – providing a total thermal building envelope.
Each container has a (patent-pending) Strut Channel Panel lining which allows weld-free and drill-free attachment of structures – ideal for cost and time efficient batch production of recurrent designs such as site offices and welfare units for the construction and plant hire industry.
To further assist the conversion process, our containers are supplied as standard with double external end doors (tunnel container) negating the need to cut additional openings for access, windows, air-conditioning units, etc.
We provide a full design support service and can supply Convertible Containers and Conversion Kits/Pods directly to container depots and conversion workshops around the world.
