Technical Innovation: Self-Storage Site

Winner: Standby Self Storage – Reigate Lift Project
Runner-up: iBidOnStorage – AuctionLens and CleanCapture

Standby Self Storage won for its Reigate Lift Project, which has improved access to upper-level container units at its constrained town-centre site. The commercial-grade lift and walkway system has helped reposition previously less accessible upper-level units as more convenient and higher-value storage space, increasing the productive use of the site without expanding its footprint.

iBidOnStorage was named runner-up for AuctionLens and CleanCapture, two AI-enabled tools designed to support unmanned storage facilities. AuctionLens assists with the creation of inventory drafts for abandoned units, while CleanCapture helps verify unit clearance following auctions, supporting faster deposit decisions and re-letting.
